The mission of ACCSES is to promote and enhance community-based solutions that maximize employment and independent living opportunities for people with disabilities.
Vision
ACCSES works with government and other stakeholders to assure that services recognize and support the full potential of each person with a disability to enjoy a meaningful life.
Values Statements

Principle: ACCSES respects the inherent value and distinctiveness of each person we serve.
ACCSES and its members provide services tailored to the distinct needs and desires of each individual. These services allow for individual choice and participation, while affirming the uniqueness of every life.

Principle: ACCSES fosters independence and community participation among individuals we serve, enhancing their quality of life.

Principle: ACCSES recognizes the invaluable support provided by a family that is actively connected to the individual receiving services.
ACCSES and its members collaborate with the families of each person we serve to strengthen the family structure and create an environment conducive to open communication, advocacy and working as care-giving partners.
- Advocacy and Outreach
Principle: ACCSES serves as a community and governmental ambassador for individuals with disabilities.
On local, state and national levels, ACCSES and its members engage the general public and governmental agencies to advocate for the persons we serve, our industry and key components, such as access and inclusion.

Principle: ACCSES strives for continuous improvement and effectiveness of services, programming and its organizational structure.
ACCSES and its members meet regularly to discuss critical issues, share best practices and provide input for public policy priorities.
